Kirkland Town Park offers some interesting features that make for a great venue. The course starts with some open lawn leading into a brief trail then more lawn with an off camber twist. It continues through some fast trails as well as some that will work you. Next comes a turn down a fast but loose trail that zig-zags along a stream which leads to a leg-burning runup. After some hard pack paths there's a sand pit to work you before hitting the paved section on the way to the finish stretch.

Day of race registration begins at 8:00am and continues until 20 minutes before each race.
- $5 Late fee for day of registration so register early!
- Riders are encouraged to race more than once. Additional races are only $10!
- Parents must sign a waiver for children under 18 to race.

- No sleeveless jerseys, aero bars or extensions.
- Mountain bikes allowed with bar ends removed.
- Riders must wear a CPSC certified helmet.
- Riders must have either a USCF, NORBA, BMX, or UCI Racing License.
- One day licenses are available at the event for $10.
- One Day license holders must race in the 9:15/Cat 4 Race.
- Masters Races are Cat 1-3.

From South—Take Rt.12 North to Waterville, take Left on Rt. 315 and follow to the end, take a Right onto 12B and follow for 3.8 mi., take a Right onto Post Street (shortly past Franklin Springs sign) and follow for .8 mile to the Kirkland Town Park which is on the left.
From North—Take Rt.12 South to New Hartford, Left on to 12B to Clinton, 12B turns Left at the second traffic light, follow for 1 mile, take a Left onto Post Street and follow for .8 mile to the Kirkland Town Park which is on the left.
From NYS Thruway—Take Thruway to Westmoreland (Exit 32), Right on Cider St. and immediate Left on Rt. 233, follow to Clinton and take Left on 412 (College Street), Right on 12B, follow for 1 mile, take a Left onto Post Street and follow for .8 mile to the Kirkland Town Park which is on the left.
